Word of Mouth Theatre is a collaboration between Actor & Writer Rachel Causer and Producer Robyn Bennett. They first met at university and discovered their shared passion for new writing with a clear social conscience. Word of Mouth Theatre was set up in 2017 ahead of touring Causer's Lippy to Festivals across the South-East of England, with the intention of provoking discussion on current feminist dialogues using contemporary means including media & lip-sync.
Lippy ran as part of Brighton Fringe 2018 at The Warren; and at Wandsworth Arts Fringe 2018, as part of the Fragility Takeover.
The show recieved several five-star reviews and was one of three shows shortlisted for BEST NEWCOMER at Brighton Fringe.
